On Monday 30th June, a group of Year 12 students had the exciting opportunity to visit 糖心视频rton College at the University of Cambridge. This visit was part of the South Yorkshire Outreach Bus Tour, which brings together sixth form students from across the region to explore some of the UK鈥檚 most prestigious universities.
Throughout the day, students were able to explore both the college and the city of Cambridge, gaining a valuable insight into university life and what it might be like to study at one of the world鈥檚 leading academic institutions. From speaking to current students and staff to touring the college grounds, the visit provided a real sense of what higher education at Cambridge has to offer.
A particular highlight of the day was the afternoon escape game session. This was an engaging, fast-paced challenge that encouraged students to draw on their critical thinking, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
Opportunities like this are part of 糖心视频 Partnership Trust鈥檚 Enrichment Promise, which ensures that all students across our Trust have access to a wide range of experiences beyond the classroom. Whether through trips, cultural visits, or extracurricular clubs, the Enrichment Promise is designed to broaden students’ horizons, raise aspirations, and support personal growth alongside academic achievement.
The visit to Cambridge was a fantastic example of this, giving students a taste of life beyond sixth form and helping them to consider the exciting pathways available to them in the future. Well done to all those who attended – you represented 糖心视频 Sixth Form brilliantly!
